Karen Ford is a citizen of the world. She’s called Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Argentina and now the United States her home. And as a result, she’s developed a deep love and appreciation of different cultures, food, and the wonder and beauty of the natural world.
Along the way, she’s brought the rest of us on her travels through the lens of her camera. Whether it’s photographing the people she’s met on the trails of Nepal or taking amazing, sensitive portraits of Polar Bears in Svalbard or catching the elusive daily rituals of American Eagles in Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, Karen’s eye never stops finding unseen beauty in the fragile, delicate moments of real life.
