This week we found these two wonderful pieces of Silver Overlay from the 1930's, during our Antique travels. The juice Pitcher has a combination of Clear and frost glass with a nostalgic Fruit motif in Silver overlay. and the Vase is enveloped by a continuous spiral of silver with a Silver Thistle leaf design intertwined on two sides. Both would be beautiful decorative accents in any home, as well as perfect additions for any collector!

Today's "relaxed" visitor is "Diesel" the 3 year old Newfoundland who stopped by the store today with his Dad! After a day of romping in the snow, Diesel was ready for a nap..which he enjoyed by the hearth, here in the store! Clients often decribe the store as "Cozy", but Diesel really made it feel that way today for all of us!
This caught our eye during our weekly "Antiquing". The unique "inlaid" look to the top & legs gives this End Table it's special character! We're not sure what process was used to create this two-tone appearance, yet the carving is definately the work of a skilled craftsman and is simply beautiful.
We see this as the perfect addition to a Craftsman style home or cottage.
