Join us for wine, hors-d'oeuvres, friendship & fine art! Charity to benefit Soroptimist Rim of the World.
Join us on the First Friday of each month, May through December, for a casual “Art Open House” from 4 - 7 pm. Meet two of our Featured Artists and enjoy the extensive display of their art for the evening. Enjoy beverages and light food, while mingling with friends and other art lovers.
Each event benefits a deserving Local Charity or Foundation, as the recipient of 10% of all sales during the event (find a link for each charity listed as well, for more information about all the great things they do for our community). Check the Schedule of Artists for a list of Artists we’re featuring this Season and the Charity featured for each event.
We look forward to seeing you here at THE LAKE HOUSE for First Friday’s, where you can enjoy an evening of Friendship and Fine Art all while supporting a great cause.

Born and raised in San Diego California, Scott was introduced to painting by his grandmother at an early age. An artist herself, she helped lay down principles of light and color. He studied Environmental Design at Cal Poly Pomona. Working in the field of design he started his own Design Practice Pryde/Martines in Los Angeles. A resident of Lake Arrowhead both full and part time since 1995 he now splits his time between the East and West Coasts. He enjoys capturing the play of light and water and reflection. Painting on both sides of the country lends a great diversity to his work.
