Debra Schroth
Local artist, Debi Schroth has been honing her skills as a muralist and decorative painter for 35 plus years. She has worked with private and corporate clients throughout California and across the United States. Transforming a space using illusionistic painting techniques ( trompe l ‘ oeil) has been her greatest challenge and joy. She works closely with her clients to carry out their vision.
Bob Thomas
Much like the way Manzanita branches are transformed by this process, my work with wood has been the most recent reinvention in my life. The first occurred when I decided to pursue a career in elementary education. The degree I had earned in Industrial Technology did not meet the requirements. I returned to school, received the appropriate credential, and that turn of events led to 35 fulfilling years as a teacher and administrator before retiring in 2010. That retirement gave me the opportunity to change, once again, and pursue creative endeavors that had been dormant during my working years...
Gary Glibbery
Gary Glibbery was born in Surrey, England and moved with his family to Southern California when he was a child, where he was raised. He currently lives in Lake Arrowhead with his wife and daughter. His creative passion began in grade school with scratch built model boats. Continuing to hone his woodworking skills, he has earned awards for his Gloucesterman Schooner and Tugboat models, as well as Best of Show several times.
Julia Aubrey
Julia Aubrey has taught herself to wood burn, carve and weave on gourds through the Internet and books, spending numerous hours on each piece. She uses acrylics, dyes, colored pencils, two part epoxy, beads, and materials found in nature to accent her art. Through the support and encouragement of clients and family she has grown her talent and hopes to continue for many years to come.
Lisa Mozzini-McDill
Lisa graduated from San Diego State University with Honors, Distinction in Art and a BA in Graphic Communications. She worked as a graphic artist, illustrator, and portrait artist for over 10 years in San Diego. Lisa has continued her education with workshops by Elizabeth Tolley, John Budicin, Ken Auster, Michael Obermeyer and Joseph Todorovitch. Today she works primarily in oil on plein air landscapes, larger studio work and commissioned portraits. In addition to teaching in her studio and at Parkhurst Galleries, Inc., she demonstrates for various art groups and gives workshops. She has been published in Orange County's Best magazine and was featured in the artist's spotlight of The Press-Enterprise, July 14, 2008. Lisa is an Artist Member in California Art Club and a signature member of Laguna Plein Air Painters Association.
Maureen Stratton
Maureen began her painting career about 10 years ago once she retired from the National company in Medical Management she started and grew. She studied with Julia Diller’s Atelier in Los Angeles and quickly excelled winning several awards. She continued her education taking various workshops including Ken Auster, Kathleen Murphy and Frank Serrano. Maureen belongs to many art groups including the California Art Club, American Women Artists and NOAPS. She currently works in oils in both Plein Air and in her studio in Palm Springs, Ca. concentrating on landscapes and nature and also takes commission work.
Erica Hampton
Erica Hampton is a portrait and lifestyle photographer. Her natural inclination to gravitate toward faces and the stories they tell lends to her lifestyle and portrait work. She also collaborates with writers, designers, entrepreneurs and content creators to make images for their blogs and other online platforms.
