This beautiful Vintage Tole painted Tray is in great shape,  is an unusual size…12″ x 24″ and painted with a traditional “Cabbage Rose” motif in rich jewel tones.  The word “Tole” comes from the French term meaning lacquered or enamelled.  This was usually in reference to Metalware that was decorated by painting and often gilded.   At [...]
