Opened Memorial Day weekend in 2005, The Lake House was the collaboration of Husband & wife team of John & Robin Lyles. John, a prominent Design Architect and Robin a Former Restaurant Manager moved to the Lake Arrowhead area in 1995 to pursue the dream of living at the lake, which was a huge change from the harried pace of Orange County, CA.

As Wooden Boat enthusiasts and living by the lake, John & Robin felt there was room in the community, for a store that that focused more on the Lake than on living in the mountains. A Lake Style that was nostalgic, quiet, serene, comfortable, simple & relaxed. Our goal was to create a style that reflects how you feel when you’re here at the lake, and most importantly, a style that wasn’t represented yet, by other stores in the area. So, after 14 months of renovation to a 1600 sq. ft. storefront…The Lake House opened.
